Terms of Service — Would I Get Hired?

1. Agreement

By using Would I Get Hired? you agree to these terms. If you don't agree please stop using the app immediately.

2. What We Provide

Would I Get Hired? is an AI-powered resume scoring tool that analyzes your resume against a job description and returns a hirability score with feedback. We use Anthropic's Claude AI to generate results.

3. No Guarantee of Employment

Our scores and feedback are generated by AI and are for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee that following our suggestions will result in a job offer, interview, or any employment outcome. Always use your own judgment when applying for jobs.

4. Your Account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use this service
  • One account per person
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the service

5. Payments and Subscriptions

  • The Pro plan costs $7.99 per month
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe
  • Your subscription renews automatically every month
  • You can cancel anytime through the customer portal
  • We do not offer refunds for partial months
  • If payment fails your Pro access will be paused until payment is resolved

6. Free Tier

  • Every user gets one free resume scan
  • Free scans do not roll over or accumulate
  • We reserve the right to change the free tier at any time

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any illegal purpose
  • Submit fake, misleading, or malicious content
  • Attempt to hack, scrape, or reverse engineer the app
  • Share your account access with others
  • Use automated bots to submit form responses
  • Attempt to bypass the paywall through any technical means

8. Your Content

  • You own your resume and any content you submit
  • By submitting content you give us permission to process it through our AI to provide the service
  • We do not claim ownership of your resume or job descriptions
  • We do not use your resume to train AI models

9. AI Generated Content

  • Our scores and feedback are generated by AI and may contain errors
  • AI output is not professional career advice
  • We are not responsible for decisions you make based on AI generated feedback
  • Results may vary between submissions even with identical inputs

10. Privacy

Your use of this app is also governed by our Privacy Policy which is incorporated into these terms.

11. Intellectual Property

  • The Would I Get Hired? name, logo, and app design are our property
  • You may not copy or reproduce any part of our app without permission

12. Disclaimers

  • The app is provided as is without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee the app will be available at all times
  • We are not responsible for any losses resulting from app downtime or errors

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of this app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 3 months.

14. Changes To The Service

We reserve the right to:

  • Change our pricing with 30 days notice to subscribers
  • Modify or discontinue features at any time
  • Update these terms at any time — we will notify subscribers by email of significant changes

15. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your account if you violate these terms. You can cancel your account at any time by contacting us at wouldigethired.support.com@gmail.com.
